How do I set up my iHealth Glucometer and take a reading?
Follow the steps in your app to set up your iHealth Glucometer device.
This process just involves connecting your device to the Noteworth App on your smartphone. Follow these steps, which you will see in your app, to connect your glucometer to your app.
Step 0. Wash and dry your hands!
Always wash your hands with soap and water before taking your glucose reading. Dry your hands before starting.
(If your hands are wet or dirty, they will contaminate the sample and you will not get a good reading. So, like Momma always said, wash your hands!)
Step 1. Turn on Bluetooth.
Turn on your phone's bluetooth connection and turn on your glucometer device. You will see these screens in your app.
Step 2. Prepare the lancing device (needle)
Wash your hands and get ready to insert a new lancet into the lancing device.
1. Take off the grey cap by pressing the button on the lancing device.
2. Insert the lancet (blue) into the lancing device as shown in the image above.
3. Push down firmly until the lancet sits in the device.
4. Then twist off the blue circle to reveal the sharp needle.
5. Replace the grey cap on the lancing device.
Step 3. Turn on your glucose testing device.
Push the button on the right side of your device.
Then tap NEXT
Step 3: Making the connection
Your phone and device will wirelessly connect, and you will see a screen like what you see below.
Now you can proceed to taking a glucose reading.
Step 4. Insert a test strip
Open a bottle of test strips and insert a clean, fresh test strip into the device's port at the bottom. See the image below.
Step 5. Prick your finger
Push the button on the lancing device to prick your.
Step 6. Apply a drop of blood to the test strip
Squeeze your fingertip to form a drop of blood. Then apply the drop to the bottom of the test strip that is in your device. See the image below.
Step 7. Remove your finger from the test strip.
Step 8. Answer several more questions for your notes
Answer the questions and then tap SAVE reading. You may need to scroll down to answer all the questions.
Congratulations!! You saved a reading!
Follow the same steps for every reading.

As with every electronic device you ever own, the best way to fix an issue is to follow a simple process
- Turn off the glucose device by pressing the button on the side.
- Turn on the glucose device by pressing the button on the side.
- Tap "Try again"
